Brought to life in 2014, Kida was born from husband and wife team Shinnosuke and Megumi Kida’s dream to create a unique salon and barbershop combination with an inviting atmosphere where guests can chat with friends and staff alike. At an intersection in downtown New York’s Nolita neighborhood, where people from all over come, Kida’s versatile, experienced, and friendly stylists look forward to creating new and exciting styles tailored to each person’s personality every day. In classic Japanese style, most of Kida’s hair salon services include a thorough shampoo and relaxing scalp massage.
